2019 Hall of Fame Nominations Closed 

Mission Statement

 

It is the goal of the Interboro Alumni Hall of Fame to recognize alumni, staff and community members that have distinguished themselves by their significant contribution in their field of work/study, or to enhance the Interboro School District.

By honoring these positive role models, we hope to inspire current students in their areas of studies as well as in their extra curricular opportunities.

Three Categories

1. Alumni

  • Consideration will be given to an alum who has graduated at least five years ago and has exhibited:

    • Significant contribution to society

    • Career/Academic achievements and/or

    • Enhanced the reputation of Interboro School District

2. Community Member (non alumni or former staff)

  • Consideration will be given to a community member who has:

    • Improved Interboro School District and/or

    • Enhanced the reputation of Interboro School District

3. Former Staff Member

  • Consideration will be given to a former staff member who has retired at least five years ago and has made:

    • Significant contribution to society

    • Improved Interboro School District and/or

    • Enhanced the reputation of Interboro School District

Note: The Hall of Fame Committee has the ability to vote on exceptions to the eligibility requirements.

 

Criteria

 

A contribution may be through having distinguished him/herself in his/her chosen profession, through the development of new programs, procedures, designs, models, teaching, writing, research, demonstrations, service, and/or management skills, be an innovator or by other outstanding performance and having a record of consistent advancement and increased responsibility in his/her chosen profession.

 

An individual who has made a lasting contribution through exceptional leadership, investment of time and effort and dedicated service to the Interboro School District.
